Thirty additional subway stations will be equipped with Wi-Fi and cellphone service by the end of the first quarter of 2013, Transit Wireless announced today, including Times Square, Columbus Circle, and Rockefeller Center. The expansion was slated to occur this year, but was pushed back by Hurricane Sandy, meaning a few more months of staring at and refreshing your phone even though you know damn well it’s not going to work underground.
