Yes, the thieves who stole a computer, phones, camera, and guitar from a group of Hurricane Sandy volunteers staying in a Staten Island church are awful people. But something’s especially wrong with this story because they did it more than once. “The two had come to the church the week before, too, and made off with other items, including computers,” Rev. Kevin Fisher told The New York Times. They were caught on camera, so it’s not like there’s no security at the church, but somehow they were able to make a repeat raid. What with that apparent arson on Sunday, this is just a bad week all around for churches housing Sandy volunteers.
