Social-media fight!
Twitter is mad at Instagram today because Instagram disabled a feature called “Twitter cards integration.” Practically, all that means is that your Instagram photos, when posted to Twitter, might now look a little cropped instead of all square and pretty like they used to. In nerd world, this passes for a big deal, so you get headlines about a “brewing rivalry” and blog posts about how Instagram is “giving Twitter the middle finger.”
Let’s hope they reconcile their differences over a game of Settlers or something.
