Barely a day after his father, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, admitted that he’s thinking about a possible 2016 presidential bid — as the GOP’s “libertarian-Republican” savior — his 19-year-old son was arrested late on Saturday at an airport in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was reportedly drunk and disruptive. “Sen. Paul is a national public figure and subject to scrutiny in the public arena,” said the senator’s communications director. “However, as many parents with teenagers would understand, his family should be afforded the privacy and respect they deserve in a situation such as this.”
