In court papers filed today, Gilberto Valle’s lawyers say his estranged wife, Kathleen Mangan, shouldn’t be allowed to share her “subjective reaction” when she testifies for the prosecution. Valle reportedly posted photos of women his ex knew on a fetish porn site, and discussed what she might taste like with one of his co-conspirators. The defense might have a point here. While some wives are surprisingly accepting of their husbands’ cannibalistic tendencies, since it was Mangan who tipped off the FBI in the first place, we already have a pretty good idea of her take on the situation.
