Sarai Sierra, a 33-year-old mother of two, last spoke with her family on January 21, the day she was expected back in New York from a two-week vacation in Istanbul. Turkey’s state-run news agency now says the body of a woman was found (per the AP’s report) “near some ancient walls in a low-income district” stabbed to death — Sierra was identified by her driver’s license. Nine men have so far been arrested.
