Broken Umbrellas, Snowed-In Cars, and Other Photos From Last Night’s Blizzard

Friday night’s (and, for some, Saturday morning’s) big snowstorm hit the Northeast pretty hard, dropping a record 29.3 inches of snow up in Maine, flooding towns in Massachusetts, and turning the five boroughs into a sunny winter wonderland. While New England struggles to dig itself out, New Yorkers (who got only 11.4 inches of snow) are mostly just enjoying the scenery (with the exception of our hard-working snowplow operators).
