Sure, conditions aboard the Carnival cruise ship stranded in the Gulf of Mexico are awful, with the air quality becoming literally poisonous thanks to all the sewage from the overflowing toilets. But there is one small silver lining for passengers stuck on board: They’re getting free booze. Sure, that could contribute to them becoming unruly, but it could also keep them from remembering the ordeal quite so clearly, which would benefit all involved.
