Authorities announced 49 arrests today relating to the complex network of oxycodone smuggling across the Northeast, which moved $10 million in illegal drugs, according to the Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s office. Among those charged are Manhattan doctor Hector Castro, the alleged leader of the ring, whose office moved some 500,000 pills. But according to the Post, his office manager Patricia Valera, known on the street as “Kardashian,” had her own “unrelated” oxy business, of which the doctor “had no knowledge.” Awkward.
