Back in 2006, a Secret Service agent nearly shot Iranian big-mouth Mahmoud Ahmadinejad outside the InterContinental Hotel in New York, according to a new excerpt from Marc Ambinder and D. B. Grady’s Deep State. After the agent accidentally discharged his shotgun, “Everyone just stopped. The Iranians looked at us and we looked at the Iranians. The agent began to apologize. Ahmadinejad just turned his head and got into his car.” Maybe he’s used to that kind of thing?
