New York Prosecutors Can Get Away With Almost Anything

A very deep dive by ProPublica finds that New York prosecutors for the district attorney almost never face consequences for, say, screwing up bad enough that a murderer goes free. In fact, “harmful misconduct” leading to tossed convictions led to just one prosecutor getting “disbarred, suspended, or censured” in the last ten years.
