Have you ever thought about painting the curb where you like to park yellow, just to keep it open? Plenty of people do it, apparently, and with the ticket for getting caught a modest $50, why not? But the New York Times reports that a move is afoot to increase that to $250, in hopes of deterring would-be parking vigilantes. That may still be worth it to some stubborn street parkers.
