Either the stereotype of kids not liking vegetables is inaccurate and dated or the kids at Active Learning Elementary School in Queens, now the first public school in the nation to serve all vegetarian food, are weirdly positive. Because in all the coverage we’ve seen, no kid had a complaint. “I’m enjoying that it didn’t have a lot of salt in it,” one told the Daily News. “It makes me nutritious and want to tell my family which makes me more nutritious,” another told ABC. Kids today, sheesh.
