Inmates Using Fake Anthrax to Mess With Brooklyn Courthouse

For the second time in eight days, an anthrax scare disrupted the Brooklyn Federal Courthouse Wednesday when white powder spilled out of a letter addressed to the building but no one in particular. An apparently unrelated letter last Tuesday contained white powder and a note that said “this is anthrax,” the New York Daily News reports. Both came from prisoners doing time in separate prisons upstate, where they apparently don’t have enough to do.
