London Authorities Have Two Suspects in Custody for Woolwich Murder

We swear by almighty Allah, we will never stop fighting you.” Thus spoke Michael Olumide Adebolajo, a 22-year-old Nigerian man holding a bloody cleaver for all of the Internet to see, just feet away from the dying British soldier, Drummer Lee Rigby, in the London township of Woolwich on Wednesday. Hours later, Adebolajo, known by the MI5 for his Islamist ties, was brought into custody after a police raid at his house, along with another unnamed accomplice — both of whom are under questioning for Rigby’s brutal murder. The suspects were non-fatally shot at the time of the raids and now remain in stable condition at two separate hospitals; once they recover, the questioning will begin. And hopefully then we’ll have a few more answers to just what exactly happened in Woolwich.
