Kind Security Guard Opens Door to McDonald’s, Gets Robbed

A security guard at a closed McDonald’s on Varick St. in Greenwich Village was nice enough to let two men into the store to use the ATM, and in return he was locked in the bathroom as the thieves made off with nearly $3,000. Police say two men in their twenties knocked on the locked doors around 4:40 am on Sunday, and when they were let in one pulled a revolver while the other locked up the guard and ordered the other employees to the floor. Police have surveillance footage of the two ungrateful suspects and a third accomplice, but no arrests have been made.
