As we’ve established, being a cab driver, especially in a livery cab with no partition between passengers and driver, can be a very dangerous job. That point was driven home again on Thursday, when a driver was stabbed in the eye and killed in Brooklyn after a dispute with two passengers, a man and a woman, according to police. The livery cab drivers’ union is planning to offer a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
