WNYC put together the above interactive map, and it’s pretty cool: Click on any location within city limits (or type in the address) and see how long it would take you to get anywhere else in the city via the subway/your feet. The drawback is that the map doesn’t take into account buses or bikes, but it could still be a useful tool for the commute-averse. For example, if you’re looking for a new apartment, you could type in the location of your office and compare commute times to various neighborhoods. Also: pretty colors.
