The Daily Caller, which has a White House press credential for some reason, sent a 16-year-old intern to today’s daily press briefing to ask Jay Carney whether Obama would personally “take any action” to protect the Zimmermans from Zimmerman-esque vigilantes or whether they were “on their own,” as if that was Obama’s responsibility. Carney called the question “ridiculous,” but, to be fair, he’s the one who called on the Daily Caller.
