Swiss photographer Gus Petro traveled to New York City, where he was struck by its density. Then he traveled to the Grand Canyon, where he was struck by its emptiness. Petro combined the photos he took of both locations in a series of photos called “Merge.”
So, should we build New York City II inside the Grand Canyon? Couldn’t be any hotter than the original New York City, are we right?*
*We’re wrong, it would be much hotter.
