A day after the writer of The New York Times Magazine profile that launched Anthony Weiner’s comeback revealed that he didn’t think to ask about when Weiner stopped sexting strangers, the Daily News proves that it wouldn’t have much of a difference. During a lengthy Q & A with Weiner, Denis Hamill asks, “There is no one you are sexting now?” Weiner responds, “You can quibble about beginnings, middles and ends but what we’re talking about is over a year ago.” The question’s wording was slightly tricky, but for future reference, “No, I’ve sworn off sexting for good,” would have sounded more convincing.
