Christine Quinn is taking a page out of the Newark mayor’s book, performing personal favors for constituents and small acts of heroism whenever the opportunity arises. On Monday, the New York Daily News reported that Quinn got a bike rack moved five feet so that a coffee vendor in Brooklyn wouldn’t have to relocate his cart. She’s already put in a personal call to Ray Kelly to get an ambulance for a supporter who fainted, and tended to another while waiting for paramedics Sunday. Now if she could only find a burning building to run into and a dog to rescue, Quinn would probably have this thing locked up.
