The U.S. government, like your parents, knows you’re probably going to use marijuana and will look the other way, in some places, unless things get out of hand. The Justice Department said today it would not sue the states where recreational weed smoking is now legal, nor will it mess with the eighteen others (plus D.C.) where medical marijuana is available, instead going with a “trust but verify” approach.
