About seven miles from Disney World, at the Summer Bay Resort in Clermont, Florida, a sinkhole sucked up about 30 percent of the tourist villas last night, sending guests fleeing. “Kids were crying,” the security guard on duty said. “They were saying, ‘We don’t want to get trapped here. Mommy, we’re on vacation. We’re here to have fun. This is not what we expected. We don’t want to get trapped here.’” The hole in the earth was about 60 feet wide and 15 feet deep by the time it was done, but everyone got out in time, and no one was hurt. The raw aerial footage is absolutely insane and, in its silence, equally eerie.
