John McCain and Lindsey Graham have finally found something they disagree about. Two weeks ago, McCain insisted to Fox & Friends derp-machine Brian Kilmeade that, no, “Allahu Akbar” is not something only terrorists say. “For someone to say ‘Allahu Akbar,’ it’s about as offensive as someone saying, ‘Thank God,’” McCain said.
Undeterred, Kilmeade tried again this morning with South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham, who differed with McCain for probably the first time ever.
“When somebody yells ‘Allahu akbar’ in the Middle East, I duck,” the senator said on Fox News radio.
“It’s not like, ‘Hey, how you doing Lindsey,’” he said on Fox News radio….
“’Allahu akbar,’ I associate with a war chant,” Graham told host Brian Kilmeade. “It’s not exclusively owned by al Qaeda. I’ve seen people kill al Qaeda guys and yell, ‘Allahu akbar.’”
Lindsey Graham, in fact, is correct. Allahu Akbar is a war chant.
