You may remember Omar Hammami, an Alabama-born jihadist who joined up with the Somalian terrorist militant group Al-Shabab in 2006, from when he live-tweeted his own near-assassination in April. Now, reports indicate that Hammami, who was the subject of a $5 million FBI bounty offer, has been killed in an ambush by members of his own terrorist group, with whom he has had a falling out. Al-Shabab will not get the $5 million, though — that would only apply for information leading to arrest or conviction.
