Dan Sandler, the man commonly known as “anti-semitic Elmo” for his past rantings, faces prison time for trying to extort the Girl Scouts of America for $2 million by threatening to spread false rumors that the organization had arranged sexual encounters between men and underage girls. Sandler pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny and misdemeanor stalking, for which he’s expected to get two years, the New York Post reports. But he’s expressed a desire to keep doing the Elmo impersonation forever, so he may be back in Times Square before you know it.
