At a meeting of the top four congressional leaders earlier this month, Harry Reid tried to make light of the House’s “Defund Obamacare” crew pushing John Boehner into a government shutdown and generally ruining his life. As the New York Times tells it, Reid told Boehner he would “trade two of the Senate’s more volatile members for two of the House’s.” Boehner laughed and quickly replied, “You don’t want mine.” It’s nice that they can share some lighthearted moments before the “go fuck yourself”s start up again.
