Notorious Subway Kittens Still Homeless, Cute

The daredevil, city-stopping cats who already shook up the mayor’s race once are ready to be adopted, but Animal Care & Control is not making the best sales pitch: “While still a bit shy, Arthur and August are playful and sweet kittens, whose trouble-making days aren’t entirely behind them — though the trouble they’re up to now is on a much smaller scale than the kind that made the headlines over the summer,” the organization announced today, daring someone to take them. Interested, patient parties willing to care for the duo can e-mail adoption@nycacc.org. Might we suggest Joe Lhota do it himself? He could use an October surprise.
