Yes, the touch screen on your phone will likely crack if you drop it from, say, eight inches or higher, but in your time of need it may also stop a bullet. A gas-station employee in Florida (duh) was shot in the abdomen during a robbery this week and “had no idea the bullet had hit his cellphone until he pulled it out of his shirt pocket.” Can your iPhone do that? (Don’t test it.)
