Now that President Obama has canceled his Asia trip and many White House employees have been furloughed, there are large holes in his public schedule, and naturally, Politico is concerned about this. During the shutdown, Obama has held his usual briefings, visited FEMA’s headquarters in D.C., and made repeated calls for the House to vote on a clean continuing resolution. We suspect there’s enough work to keep him busy for weeks, but can we prove he isn’t spinning in his desk chair and playing Candy Crush? No.
