The Empire State Building went public on Tuesday with an IPO priced at $13 a share — on the low end of the expected range of $13 to $15 a share. At that price, it’s tempting to buy a couple, just to say you did it. Still, the Empire State Realty Trust raised $929.5 million from the offering. The interesting part comes on Wednesday, when the stock starts trading on the New York Stock Exchange. According to the New York Times, it will be trading under the symbol ESRT.
