Dolphins turning up in New York City are not usually a good thing. Fingers crossed, then, for the creature that appeared in a Coney Island creek today, drawing crowds and police attention. “NYPD ESU will attempt to create an opening in a creek boom, making room for it to swim out,” the cops said, hoping it would escape on its own at high tide. Seriously, dolphin, get out of here. Brooklyn is way overrated.
