Thankfully, a building’s brick facade that collapsed in Brooklyn during Sunday’s high winds did not do more serious injury to the two Sunday school students it hit. The kids, a 12-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy, were taken to Kings County Hospital in serious condition, but they’re not hurt critically. “The girl had a gash on her forehead, and the boy, Michael, was complaining of injuries to his back and one of his knees,” the New York Daily News reported. Clearly, holding the couch down in our pajamas was the best way to handle this blustery cold snap.
