Well, it took pretty much all year, but Congress has finally done … something! Six days after the House passed a two-year budget deal hammered out by Republican Paul Ryan and Democrat Patty Murray, the Senate has also passed the budget deal, meaning that both chambers of Congress have now passed the same piece of legislation. Congress plans to take a few weeks off to rest up before returning to its pet project of destroying the world economy.
