A day after losing by 29 points to the Oklahoma Thunder — Carmelo Anthony was out with an ankle injury, but still — the Knicks were visited at practice by none other than team owner James Dolan, who came bearing a message: There will be “no trades or changes to the coaching staff forthcoming,” according to ESPN. In other words, this Knicks team — the one that gets routinely blown out by multiples of twenty points — is the one we’re stuck with for now. Coach Mike Woodson then proclaimed that he thinks the Knicks “can rally from [the season’s] poor start” to win what is by far the worst division in the NBA, so, lofty goals.
