This morning marked the final weekly radio chat for the long-running pair, with the mayor leaving office any day now and Gambling set to retire. In the end-times spirit, the host asked Bloomberg what New Yorkers may have misunderstood about him. “Nobody expected me to like people,” he said, adding, “I like people,” which seems like as good a note as any for the occasional grump to go out on.
