A mugger in Central Park could not contain his disgust when a 25-year-old Brooklyn man handed over an old, non-Apple device. “Once he saw my phone, he looked at it like, ‘What the fuck is this?’ and gave it back to me,” said the victim. “I guess he didn’t think he could get anything for it. It’s kind of humorous.” And smug anti-smartphone holdouts get smugger.
