You would think that once someone creates a Twitter account devoted to your tardiness you’d make it your business to be on time, but apparently that’s not the De Blasio way. The Post reports that Chirlane McCray showed up an hour late to her first major speech as First Lady on Wednesday. Also, she was supposed to participate in a forum on black immigration at Brooklyn’s Christian Cultural Center, but instead she spoke for ten minutes and left. It’s unclear if Chirlane is also just “not a morning person,” or if she’s trying to make her husband’s chronic lateness seem more normal.
