It’s not often you quit a job where you have so little interest in maintaining a good relationship with your boss that you can go out with whatever kind of bang you want. But that was the situation for David Waddell, a city councilman in Indian Trail, North Carolina, who also happens to be a giant Trekkie. Making the most of a rare opportunity, Waddell composed his resignation letter in Klingon. Why the hell not? As Waddell wrote, “I might as well have one last laugh.”
