Ali C, the woman billing herself as New York’s first professional cuddler, insists there’s nothing sexual about her service, for which people pay $60 to hold or be held close for 45 minutes. But we can’t always control these things and men, in particular, might have a, uh, hard time hiding their excitement. So how does Ali C plan to handle any unexpected stiffness? She’s not specific, but her website explains: “Although sexual activity is not permitted, arousal is perfectly normal and you will not be made to feel uncomfortable.” This is not junior high, after all.
