Nature Smiles on the No-Pants Subway Ride

Some riders in the New York City subway in the underwear as the take part in the 2013 No Pants Subway Ride January 13, 2013. Started by Improv Everywhere, the goal is for riders to get on the subway train dressed in normal winter clothes (without pants) and keep a straight face.

Not quite as annoying as SantaCon (but still annoying), Improv Everywhere’s No-Pants Subway Ride plans its twelfth installment this Sunday. And unlike this year’s SantaCon, which was tempered somewhat thanks to heavy snowfall, the weather will be much better for going pantsless. Weather Underground calls for a high of 50, which, while not exactly sunbathing weather, is fine for going half nude inside a train. Last year saw 4,000 people participate here in New York, according to IE’s website. Seems like even more bare legs are in the forecast this Sunday, like it or not.
