That was the takeaway from a press conference the Toronto mayor held, at which he announced some kind of cost savings for the city while wearing a Denver Broncos jersey. We already know Ford LOVES the NFL, after he wore a tie decked out with fifteen-year-old team logos to some event or other shortly after he admitted to smoking crack. At least that time he wore a tie! Now it’s just straight-up athletic gear and, we can only assume, some old sweatpants behind the podium. The guy may still be talking like a mayor (sometimes), but he’s already got the unemployed outfit down.
Oh, also, let’s hope this jersey doesn’t mean Ford will be called on to actually play football. That didn’t go so well the last time.
