It’s Too Cold to Be on the Lam

A prisoner who escaped from a minimum-security prison in Lexington, Kentucky, on Sunday walked into a local motel last night and asked a clerk to call the police so that he could be taken back to jail, where he would at least be protected from the area’s current single-digit temperatures. “It’s cold out there, too cold to run around,” said a police spokeswoman, as if everyone didn’t know that already.
