So, Bottomless Brunch Is Legal After All, It Seems

Good news follows the week’s bad news about bottomless-booze brunches: It seems the practice is, in fact, legal, as long as the booze accompanies a meal and the restaurant doesn’t overserve. A State Liquor Authority clarified the law for the NYC Hospitality Alliance: “There is a limited exception in the statute when the service of alcohol is incidental to the event, such as in the case of certain brunch specials.” The weekend can be lost once more.
