New York City’s version of the Westboro Baptist Church, ATLAH Worldwide Missionary Church in Harlem, has a way with words. This particular homophobic poem — the latest in a series of purposely offensive messages like calling President Obama “Uncle Tom” — warns black women, “A WHITE HOMO MAY TAKE YOUR MAN.” Because he has a credit card and good taste, says pastor “Dr.” James David Manning:
… black women, let me say something to you: you’ll have a very hard time competing against a white homosexual male. He usually has got money, a white homo usually has an American Express card … homos love the theater, they love to go out to dinners, parties, they love that kind of a thing!
But if he put that part on the sign, people would be asking where to sign up.
