First Look, the new media venture backed by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar, is launching several digital magazines, and on Thursday it said the first will will focus on “in-depth reporting on the classified documents previously provided by NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden.” The site, which will debut next week, is helmed by NSA scandal veterans Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras, and Jeremy Scahill, the journalist behind the documentary Dirty Wars. While it seems like there can’t be many more truly explosive stories from the Snowden files, First Look says their staff “has already uncovered a host of new and disturbing revelations in the NSA documents.”
