The AP reports that the network “initially sought to rent a real 777 airplane for its coverage, but found it impossible.” Instead, CNN settled for a flight simulator in Canada, which it has rented every day since March 17. “In a horrible tragedy, I’m at least blessed with a good place to report from, to try and bring some clarity,” said anchor Martin Savidge, who, in an elaborate metaphor, just keeps crashing over and over again.
