Be Careful Where You Send Your Naked Photos (Especially If You Live in New Jersey)

Photo: New Jersey Attorney General’s Office

A New Jersey man was blackmailed for nearly $2,000 after posting an ad for sex and then sending a naked photo to the respondent. Yesterday, Steven J. Beisher, 42, pictured, pleaded guilty to second-degree theft by extortion, and faces up to five years in jail. Beisher threatened to notify the man’s family and demanded the man meet him seven times over nine days paying him between $200 to $400 before the man eventually went to the police. Enough is enough.
