New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has been working on a memoir, as he seems to enjoy fueling 2016 speculation then insisting he’s not running. HarperCollins revealed on Wednesday that the book is titled All Things Possible: Setbacks and Success in Politics and Life, and will be released on August 5, just as his reelection campaign really gets going. Two years ago, the New York Times suggested the book was not a memoir, and would focus on topics such as “how to shape and oversee a government budget.” The new blurb in Library Journal says, “he’s had some telling ups and downs on his way to Albany. So this memoir will discuss not just politics but family and duty, setbacks and successes, as Cuomo considers what his zigzag trajectory has taught him.” That should increase the odds that people who aren’t governors or gubernatorial candidates will read it.
